- Newborns and infants — poor tone (floppiness), weak cry, poor feeding, breathing problems apnoea
(stopping breathing), cyanosis, tremor, seizures
- BGL less than 4mmol/L AND
- Sweaty, pale, clammy, taking deep breaths
- Hungry, weak, tired, dizzy, shaking, slurred speech
- Drowsy, confused, tearful, behave differently, appear 'drunk'
- Aggressive, suspicious, potentially dangerous
- Fits, loss of consciousness, ataxia
